Terry Butcher Speaks of his life in the Highlands
"Highland life appears to agree with Inverness Caledonian Thistle's Championship winning manager Terry Butcher as it provides the perfect environment for the 77 times capped England defender to exercise his pets.
Butcher, speaking after leading his side on an unbeaten run of 21 games that saw them win the IRN-BRU Scottish Football League First Division title said, “My wife and I sometimes take our dogs for a walk around Fort Augustus and it is a gorgeous area to do that. I have been down in England this week and it does not compare. I certainly do not miss the traffic in London, that is for sure.”
The 51 year old former Ipswich Town and Rangers legend said, “When I first came up to Scotland in 1986 the slogan I saw was about Glasgow smiling better with Mr Happy but I can assure you Inverness is smiling better at the moment. There is a feel good factor and I still feel I am on a cloud myself.
